Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon Rolls!
That it what we did for mutual!
They were so simple and SO good!

For the fillings we used marshmallows, chocolate chips, jam, cream cheese, butter!

This is what they looked like when they just got out of the oven. Don't the look simply divine!

This one was a cream-cheese and jam cinnamon roll

And this one was a chocolate chip, marshmallow and cream-cheese roll

The 2 amazing Mia Maids

This was my plate that was filled with these amazing treats!

So, now that you have had a chance to see what they look like and what they are filled with, it is now YOUR
turn to go and make them!
Enjoy!

Glow in the dark Volleyball

Last nights mutual activity was
SO fun!
We played Glow-in-the-dark volleyball.
And so we had our net and everybody had a couple glow-in-the-dark sticks,
and when the lights turned off...
It looked like you were in outer space! With all these different colored lights around the looked like stars, and a glow-in-the-dark volleyball flying through the sky, looked like a planet.
 And when someone through a
stick it looked like a shooting star.
We played 3 games total.
The first two were played with the youth and leaders on the same teams,
and our last game was leaders against youth.
I don't remember who won.
But we did get a good laugh out of it!
And over the net, there was a part in the roof that was sticking down,
so when ever someone would give a really good serve, it would either hit the roof or it would hit that part coming out of the roof.
But we all had a great time!
We then ended the evening with ice cream, brownies and cookies.
Yumm!
What a delightful evening it was indeed!

Past Christmas Party

So the other day I was going through my pictures.
And I found some that were from our Christmas Party.
I know that it is well past the season,  but I thought
that I would share them anyway.

So, on the evening of a Tuesday the 10th wards YM and YW got together for a mutual activity.
On this evening we went caroling,
and I would have taken pictures, but the evening darkness would not allow pictures.
*Sigh*
Oh well! Now that that is past,
We then went back to the church and had a wonderful White-Elephant game.

This was the end of our game. But we had a wonderful time!
And we all ended up with some interesting stuff!

We then had some hot Chocolate and cookies.
Yumm!

And it was such a wonderful evening, that it was hard not to smile!
(Sorry for the blur)

This kid REALLY likes his hot cocoa!

I want a cookie!!

Just look at that mischievous smile. I wonder what could be up his sleeve. ;)

Wow. Boys these days grow mustaches WAY too young!!
Hahaha. I'm just kidding!
This is one of the games gifts.

What a wonderful evening we had! And we all left with wonderfully odd gifts, (hehe)
But thanks to our leaders! We couldn't have done it without you!

Ice Cream Spoons

Yes! I am a Mia-Maid now!
But the first Mia-Maid Mutual Activity was amazing!

Here are a couple pictures to mark our event.

So for activity we went to Yogurtland
And when we were done eating our yogurt, we started to play with our spoons.
So Tashina and her mother started to hang their spoons on their noses. Well, as hard as I tried, it just was not working out for me.

^ This is try number 1 ^

^And after several tries, I couldn't do it,
so I tried to hang the spoon from a different direction.
Well, that didn't go too well either.^

Then finally I was able to get it to hang!

And I was SO happy!

But, of course while I was trying to get my spoon to work,
Tashina was having a fun time taking pictures of her progress. ;)

Isn't she so adorable! Haha

I am pretty sure that in our evening of spoons,
we had several people look in our direction and we thought we could guess what was going through their minds.
"Weirdos."
:D

But hey, after all I got the hang of it.
(And yes, I don't just wear popsicle sticks for the fun of wearing them.
I broke my finger,
and this seemed like the best solution,
and it was! :) )

One moment, we are all happy,

And then the next we are playing a very serious game.
Haha.
And even thought there was only 3 of us, what a very wonderful evening we had!
