Mutual night the Deacons were in charge of the activity.
And you might think that
boys may not know how to plan a good evening,
but our YM,
know how to do it.
We had a few games,
some involving noodles called wackers,
some involving fake chickens,
others with wooden boards and jump ropes.
Here are some pictures to explain
First off, we must say thankyou to some of our leaders for putting this together for us!!
*Applause*
Our first game was something that happened to do
with mutating gofers.
There were two people that held hands and with the whacker
they had to whack someone and they would form a
chain.
The rules for the whacker were;
1. Hitting waste and below was okay
2. Hitting waste to head wasn't good
&
3. Hitting on the head was UnKool.
Here were a few people who felt that they were too
old for these games.
Quite sad.
We had a lonely person over here.
This is where everyone else was
And this is where the mutating gofers were
Here is a horrible picture of a Whacker
We all got practice at running away from
certain things
Catch!!
Awwww, such feet.
The next game invloved fake chickens, whoever had a chicken was safe
from the Whackers.
Abby's had one leg.
And if the chicken fell to the ground,
it was out
Emily didn't know that her dad had these chickens
And I finally got this picture!! I thought that I
never would!
Hurrah!
Im glad that I get to take her picture
Our Bishop could hardly resist the temptation to join
I like my shoes. . .
And even when we had no more chickens, we still
ran around
I guess I'm better at taking surprise pictures than I think I
am . . .
We all have our own ways of showing affection
for things . .
Our third game was
we each had a partner, and
we had to run threw a jump rope without getting hit
Here we were starting out,
there were several people that failed the first
few times.
Hate to say it,
but it was quite amusing!
First try
Second try
And third try!
After that, we all were able to get through
And then for the last time, we got all the girls on a team
and the boys on two teams
and we all ran across
The girls got it in once try, the boys had
a few trys
And our final games went as the picture looks,
we got on to boards and we
had to walk across the room on those boards.
And I must give credit to the older boys,
who won
And then, it wouldn't be a mutual night, without
a few games of basket ball . .
. . and ice cream bars
What a fun filled night that we had!
You missed out girls!
